The Nendle Group of companies was formed in 1983 to meet the growing challenge of Environmental, Building Services and Industrial noise and vibration control. The word 'Nendle' is derived from the name of an ancient philosopher purported to have lived in the Ardennes during the sixth century. His task was to advise the Merovingian rulers on the control of sound in their temples and palaces. In the same way as its namesake, today's Nendle is determined to develop the science of noise and vibration control into the next century. In addition it is, of course, committed to meeting client needs and providing the most cost-effective solutions to their problems. To achieve these objectives Nendle recognises that an integrated framework of activities must be applied to each project. This framework interlinks project management and continuing research and development, to enable Nendle engineers to apply the latest design philosophy to current projects. Where possible the noise and vibration control systems will be adapted to suit the HVAC design rather than involving the client in costly design changes. |
