Nendle's
Approach to Music Rooms and Recording Studios
Since 1984 Nendle has
been designing innovative acoustic solutions to demanding applications
| Solutions to particular projects have highlighted a cost effective approach for supplying acoustic rooms for use at exhibitions. | |
| The normal approach to obtain a quiet area to demonstrate products is to instruct the exhibition stand contractor. | |
| The capital cost of these facilities is expensive and written off after one exhibition. The construction techniques used are limited, leaving end results unpredictable. | |
It does not have to be
that way!
| Nendle's range of modular acoustic enclosure are ideal for these applications. With full acoustic consultancy backing, the client can specify or can be advised on the optimum acoustic and climatic environmental conditions within the acoustic room. | |
| The modular acoustic enclosures are demountable and therefore can be dis-assembled ready to be relocated for use at the next exhibition or used back at base for product testing or demonstration. | |
| This approach has major cost saving benefits. Nendle installation teams can organise installation anywhere in Europe, either independently or in parallel with exhibition stand contractors. | |
As for the Technical aspects,
the modular acoustic enclosures can be supplied with the following mean
sound reduction ratings:
20dBModel 05020
30dBModel 05030
35dBModel 07535
40dBModel 10042
45dBModel 10049
50dBModel 15050
The enclosure performance
selected shall depend on the expected background noise outside the enclosure
and the optimum internal noise level to demonstrate the product.

The acoustic response
within the acoustic enclosure can be 'tuned' to achieve optimum reverberation
times within the space using Nendle's vast range of acoustic absorption
modules and wedges and round refelective panels. Where the proposed
site of the acoustic enclosure is subject to vibration the Nendle range
of noise and vibration control and floating floor products can be utilised.

The internal climatic
conditions within the acoustic enclosure will probably need to be controlled
with a purpose designed air conditioning system which can be supplied
and installed as part of an overall package. All systems would be modular
to enable them to be re-used on another site.
